Brette began her dance career on a competitive dance company, training with master teachers/choreographers such as Mandy Moore, Dee Caspary, and Gregg Russell. She went on to attend UCLA, earning a double degree in Psychology, and World Arts and Cultures with a concentration in dance. As a three-year member and captain of the UCLA dance team, she enjoyed choreographing numerous halftime dances, sideline routines, and the competition routine that won first place at the United Spirit Association Collegiate Nationals in 2007. She was a featured dancer in the opening act of the 2004 Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, the 2006 movie “Even Money”, the 2007 music video remix of Frankie Valli’s “Beggin”, and numerous Fox Sports promotional commercials. Brette is currently a proud director of the Brentwood Academy of Dance Competition Team. She continues to teach classes at UCLA and choreographs for high school dance teams throughout Southern California. She also dances in a Ventura based contemporary dance company called Revelations. Brette is passionate about sharing her love for dance to all of her students and is so excited to be a part of the Dance For Kids family!
