Jordyn Manhart

Instructor

Jordyn Manhart is an LA transplant from Hays, Kansas. Her passion for dance began at a very early age, training in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, and hip-hop. Her love of teaching dance emerged in high school when she began teaching the little ones at her studio.

She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2020 with a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Dance, a Minor in Education, and a Certificate of Entrepreneurship. While at KU she was a member of the Rock Chalk Dancers, where she had the privilege of performing at Division I sporting events. She also performed with the department’s University Dance Company each semester. She held leadership positions in both the dance team and company. Throughout her college career, she continued teaching dance at a few studios in Lawrence, KS.

Post graduation, Jordyn moved to Los Angeles to pursue professional dance. She has trained under award winning choreographers at Millennium Dance Complex, TMilly Studio, and Playground LA. She has performed at the Choreographer’s Carnival and recently, “Shadows Of The Mind” at the El Portal Theatre. While she loves to perform, she has a special place in her heart for teaching. She currently teaches 1.5-6 year olds and finds great purpose in helping her students grow. She’s excited to continue inspiring the next generation of dancers at Dance For Kids!
