Sydney Diamond
Performance Company Director and Event Coordinator
Sydney Diamond is a dancer, choreographer, and movement director based out of Los Angeles, California. She graduated summa cum laude with her BFA in dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.
Growing up in Pittsburgh, Sydney trained with Pittsburgh Musical Theatre, Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, Point Park University, and The Joffrey Ballet School. Her dance training includes jazz, tap, contemporary, modern, ballet, and hip hop. Sydney has worked with choreographers such as Bobbi Jene Smith, Sidra Bell, Gary Jeter, Curt Haworth, Jesse Zaritt, Anne White, Theresa Ruth Howard, and more.
Sydney was chosen as a featured choreographer for Flair Dance Festival in Philadelphia, PA (2021). She is currently the Creature Movement Choreographer and Performer for Odd Compelling Tales, a folk horror/comedy series in development. Most recently she was a mentor and choreographer at ZZDance and Dancesations Studio of Performing Arts in New Jersey, where she received multiple choreography awards for her competitive dances.
Sydney is currently a certified group fitness instructor for AKT Studios, as well as a personal trainer for private clients in the West LA Area. Sydney is thrilled to be a part of the Dance for Kids/Brentwood Academy of Dance family and share her love for dance with her students every day!
